The showroom here at Audi Fairfield will be evolving in the coming years, beginning with the release of the highly anticipated 2015 A3 sedan. Beyond this our brand just announced another step in a new direction, the step into the world of small crossover vehicles.
The new Q1 was teased recently by Audi in some exciting sketches, and will officially enter production sometime in early 2016. Shortly after this we should expect to see the new model join our dealership here in Fairfield, Connecticut.
The current field of small crossover vehicles is highlighted by the Mini Countryman and Nissan Juke, and the Q1 will compete directly with these two rides.
The upcoming North American International Auto Show in Detroit will be the first opportunity to see the Q1 outside of the sketches that were just releases. The show, taking place between January 13 and 26 of the new year will surely bring numerous exciting releases alongside the Q1.
Looking deeper at the sketches Audi released of the new small crossover we can see that the brands "Shooting Brake" design seen with past all road concepts mixed with the looks of futuristic sports cars. This bold and versatile stance is highlighted with a taller ride, resulting from some large 19-inch wheels.
The final result for the Q1 may look a little more tame, but the general idea is portrayed in the sketches. This idea is a sporty all road vehicle that can handle everything from your mundane daily commute to an exciting high speed lap on the track.
As the reveal of this vehicle approaches make sure you keep up to date with all the news here on our blog, we will surely update you further in this exciting model down the road.
We look forward to adding the Q1 in the future to our inventory of new Audi models here serving the entire Danbury, Connecticut region.
