German automaker Audi sure is reaping in the success of its popular new models, as shown by their most recent reported sales figures for the month of June. The brand's U.S. segment officially celebrated its most successful June yet which also marked Audi's 30th successive month of record-breaking sales and recently, Audi AG reached a new milestone of posting its best sales ever for the first-half of the year.
To break it down, from January to June in 2013, deliveries of for new Audi models around the world are up by 780,500 units, reflecting an increase of 6.4 percent and 5.5 percent increase year-over-year.
Wonder what models are prompting the brand's success? Specifically, popular SUVS like the Audi Q3 and Audi Q5 have been influencing positive sales due to their versatility and luxurious style.
"We have clearly exceeded the 2012 figure for deliveries, despite a much more difficult environment in many key markets at present," states Luca de Meo, a member of the Board of Management for Sales at AUDI AG. "In the second half of the year, the A3 Sedan will make an impact in the first markets. This model will play a decisive role in continuing the A3 success story."1.
