If there's one thing that we at Audi Fairfield enjoy doing, its analyzing the latest exciting concept from our favorite German automaker. The 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show recently took place over the last few weeks, and Audi blew us all away with the debut of their brand-new Audi nanuk quattro concept.
This flashy sports car displays a revolutionary fresh design alongside of able sprightliness of a small vehicle, high-performance underpinnings and powerful yet efficient diesel engine. This amazing concept was designed and developed through Audi's collaboration with Italdesign Guigiaro, an Italian design and engineering company.
The Audi nanuk quattro is a two-seat model outfitted with a fresh 5.0-liter diesel (TDI V10) engine that churns out up to a massive 544 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque at a mere 1,500. As for performance, the concept car leaps from zero to sixty-two in less than four seconds and manages a curb weight of 1,900 kg (4,188,78 pounds).
Part of the concept's ability to be so nimble is widely attributed to its design, which has a shortened wheel base of almost 40 inches and also features 22-inch rear wheels that can independently rotate up to nine degrees in the opposite direct of the front wheels.
Are you as amazed by this state-of-the-art Audi concept as we are? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below and be sure to stay tuned to our blog for future updates.
