Here at Audi Fairfield, the Audi TT Coupe is definitely one of our favorite models in the current lineup. That is why we were so excited earlier this week when we heard that our favorite automaker has debuted the new Audi Offroad TT Concept at the Beijing Motor Show.

When we received the first images of this concept, it was love at first sight. With many physical similarities to the Shooting Brake Concept from the last Detroit Auto Show, this model was somewhere between a large wagon and a compact crossover. Under the hood of the TT Offroad concept is a powerful hybrid drivetrain that combines two electric motors with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The result of the marriage of these two systems is 408 horsepower and a 0-60 sprint time of 5.2 seconds.

It only gets better inside the cabin, where drivers will find a 12.3-inch TFT display screen and a built-in ionizer that removes bad smells from the air. There was even a high-end remote control 1:8 scale replica of the concept in a special compartment inside the trunk.

Here at Audi Fairfield we are hoping that the creation of this concept was more than just designers at Audi flexing their creative muscles, and it will eventually make its way to production. Until that time, you are always welcomed to visit our showroom and explore our entire new Audi inventory.
