It's admittedly not easy for a vehicle to make a name for itself in a class as crowded -- and hotly contested -- as the midsize luxury sedan. And yet, the 2016 Audi A4 still somehow manages to make it seem like child's play.
And how, exactly, does it go about doing so? Autotrader personality, Jabari Jones, provides some perspective in the clip below. Take a look and listen right now:
Outfitted with a turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, the A4 turns out a terrific 220 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. In most cases, a continuously variable transmission sorts shifts; when had with the quattro® all-wheel-drive option, however, the A4 is instead offered with your choice of either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic.
We'd also note that, for what it's worth, the CVT is the most economical of the bunch. So equipped, the A4 returns a remarkable 27 mpg combined (24 city/32 highway).
