Audi of America just announced January results of 13,201 vehicles sold, which marks an 11 percent increase over January 2016. This 73rd straight record month carries on the momentum Audi has gained from seven consecutive years of record U.S. sales.
The month's results were buoyed by strong SUV sales, as the segment gained 22 percent over January 2016. Sales of the Q5 increased 35 percent, while the Q3 grew 31 percent and the Q7 jumped 3 percent. Customers also exhibited high demand for Audi sedans, with the A4 sedan gaining 31 percent and the A6 growing 20 percent.
Mark Del Rosso, chief operating officer, Audi of America, stated in a press release, “Coming off a record year, we were pleased to see strong consumer demand across the product portfolio in January. We believe that Audi is poised for continued success in 2017 with products that will excite our customers and draw them into our showrooms.”
