For the 2024 model year, Audi is taking the e-tron and e-tron S and renaming them the Q8 e-tron. Not only are these models getting a name change, but they're also getting a refresh. As you'd expect of a refresh, the Audi Q8 e-tron will get a new look and a more powerful, long-lasting battery. You'll surely enjoy what this refresh offers, so let's take a more in-depth look at what drivers can expect.

The new Audi Q8 e-tron offers a more contemporary design than the e-tron or e-tron S. There's a new grille, LED headlights, and a new two-dimensional logo. Plus, the aerodynamics have been modified. This modification results in less drag thanks to newly designed wheels, a larger spoiler, and the redesigned fascia and grille.

The Audi e-tron may have received a new name and design, but not everything has changed. As before, this model will offer a premium high-tech feel. It will also offer heated front power seats, a panoramic sunroof, natural wood trim, and leather seating.

The 2024 Q8 e-tron is powered by a 106-kWh battery pack and an electric motor on each axle. This setup sees the Q8 e-tron producing 355 horsepower and 414 pound-feet of torque. And with Sport mode initiated, you can briefly boost that output to 402 hp and 490 lbs.-ft of torque.

According to Audi, the Q8 e-tron can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds. While towing is rated at 4,000 pounds. As for its recharge time, it's stated that drivers can go from 10%-80% in 31 minutes using a 170-kW DC Fast Charger. A complete recharge using a 9.6 kW home charger takes 13 hours.
